Welcome to the Heritage Harbour Health Group.
We are a privately-run, non-profit organization providing health care
to those who are both residents of Heritage Harbour and
Heritage Harbour Health Group members.
Our Group is an original concept for providing home health care,
using a unique blend of professional and volunteer collaboration.

| What's Coming Up? |
- The Health Group is sponsoring an ongoing combination Yoga and Meditation Class for all
skill levels. The classes are held every Wednesday in the Activities Room at the Lodge from 5pm-6pm.
- Carando Health Seminar: Healthcare Reform and Medicare - Amy Rubino will be in the Lodge Auditorium on
Tuesday, August 31 at 3:00pm to speak about the new healthcare laws and what it means for those on medicare.
- Carando Health Seminar: What Does it Mean to Donate Your Body to Science? - Ronald Wade, Director
of the DHMH State Anatomy Board will be in the Lodge Conference Room on Thursday, September 16 at 2:00pm to discuss this topic.
- 2010 HEALTH FAIR - The Health Fair will be held on Thursday, September 23 from 9am-2pm at
the Lodge. The HH Bus will be running continuously during the Fair so make your plans early! All the details will be in our September
Heart of the Matter newsletter.
- Croptoberfest 2010 - On Saturday, October 2, the Health Group will sponsor an all day crop
marathon for scrapbookers and card makers from 9am-9pm in the Lodge Auditorium. There will be door prizes, lunch,
snacks, beverages, goody bags, and more! To register, either stop by the Health Group office or download the

- Flu Shot Clinic - The annual Flu Shot Clinic, in cooperation with Maxim Healthcare Services, will be held
on Thursday, October 14 from 9am-1pm and from 2pm-6pm in the Lodge Multi-Purpose Room.
- SAVE THE DATE - 20th Anniversary Gala - Help us celebrate the Health Group's 20th Anniversary this year by
attending the Anniversary Gala on Saturday, October 23, 2010. Details will be released in the next Heart of the Matter Newsletter and look
for our ad in the next Harbour Lights.
- Non-perishable food items are collected year round and donated to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank.
